Cipherwise emerged from a simple observation: organizations need privacy law guidance that respects both regulatory requirements and operational realities. Founded in early 2019 by privacy law practitioners who had spent years helping businesses navigate Hong Kong's data protection framework, we recognized that compliance works best when approached thoughtfully rather than through rigid checkbox exercises.
Our practice focuses on the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance and its practical application across different business contexts.
